Every child moves through a remarkable window of growth, and sleep is at the heart of it. From the child who naps after a big day of learning at school, to the teenager burning the midnight oil, to the college student navigating new independence, sleep is quietly doing some of the most important work of their lives. Yet we still have so much to learn about how it shapes the developing brain, influences emotions, and sets the foundation for long-term mental wellbeing.
Our research program at the Sleep, Affective Neuroscience, and Development lab is built on a strong foundation of competitively awarded grants, and we are grateful for the scientific community's confidence in this work. To continue growing and deepening our programs, we also rely on the generous support of donors who share our curiosity and commitment — individuals and families, fundraising groups, charitable foundations, and organizational partners. Together, these contributions help us go further, ask bolder questions, and develop a richer understanding of what young people truly need to flourish.
Tax-deductible donations to support the SAND lab’s work can be made via this link or by reaching out to the contact below.
