SleepChart Study

Sleep is a modifiable factor that supports healthy development; the quality and amount of sleep young people get is associated with long-term emotional, cognitive, and physical health outcomes in adulthood. The SleepChart research study aims to learn how sleep changes over the course of late childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood in order to create growth charts for sleep. This study is conducted by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Boston Children's Hospital; funding was received from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
