Alexa joined the lab as a Senior Research Associate in 2025. She is a 2022 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Chemistry. She went on to further study Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers University where she obtained her MS in 2024. Her research interests include Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. Passionate about combining clinical care with scientific research, Alexa plans to pursue an MD/PhD to become a physician-scientist.
