Kayla joined the lab in June of 2025. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her bachelor's of science in psychology. Kayla's research interests include neurodegenerative diseases, schizophrenia, and how mental illnesses are treated with medications. In the future, she hopes to pursue a PhD in behavioral neuroscience and continue research.
